I am a 51 year old male that had his first colonoscopy in March 2022 and was diagnosed with Stage 2 colorectal cancer. During the procedure a rectal tumor was found, surgically removed in April 2022 (with a temporary ileostomy), oral chemo during that summer, and reversed at the end of August 2022. This is my story.
I am not a medical professional and all comments or statements on this site are my personal opinion. Please talk to your doctor about getting screened for colorectal cancer.
